The Home opened in 1986 and offers accommodation for twenty elderly residents with access to a quiet lounge, where residents can sit and chat and entertain their visitors. Adjoining is a spacious main lounge/ dining room with wall mounted HDTV. This overlooks a large patio and pleasant landscaped gardens.
Each bedroom is single varying in size and aspect, decorated to a high standard with good quality floor covering and curtains, fitted with TV point, individual thermostatically controlled central heating and call bell system.
Ground Floor
Seventeen bedrooms of which three have ensuite toilet facilities.
There is an assisted bath and two shower rooms.
Various toilet facilities are within close proximity of all bedrooms and communal areas.
First Floor
Three bedrooms each with ensuite shower facilities.
Gardens
Residents enjoy the surroundings of the well planted gardens and an ornamental fish pond. The gardens and patio are accessible from the main lounge and 5 bedrooms have doors opening onto the patio and gardens.
Pathways around the garden make it accessible for residents and wheel chairs and the patio provides a pleasant place to sit on warm summer days.
We feel it is important to encourage Residents to bring their own small items of furniture and personal effects to personalise their own room.
